About Me

I decided to create an easy to use website to help assist and educate people that are new to eBay and online auctions in general. This applies to my mother who has recently bought a new computer and I think she shall be using eBay quite a lot. Also, many people on the community boards seem to ask the same questions time and time again. In addition to this I want to provide information on how to avoid the known "scams" so that your eBay experience is a pleasant and profitable one.

eBay itself offers a lot of good information but there is just so much information that it is difficult to know where to start. This site provides relevant and up-to-date information, advice and links which should be easy to find.

My focus is on eBay UK but the principles can be used on any eBay site worldwide and other online auction sites.

I have been buying and selling on eBay for a little over two years now. Overall I am a great fan of eBay as there is a potential to both grab some bargains and make some extra income. Around 99% of my experiences on eBay have been good but I have also had some bad experiences. This website shall hopefully help you to avoid the pitfalls so that you can enjoy eBay to it's full potential.

I am a Powerseller which means I have sold quite a few items, over 2000 in fact, and maintained a good feedback score, 99.9%. eBay is my marketplace and as such I want to try and protect it.

I have created this website as I am between jobs at the moment and thought this would be a good opportunity to develop my html and web design skills. I am in no rush to join the 9-5 clan again as I am enjoying spending time with my 7 month old son. eBay provides me with a reasonable income which I am planning to turn into a full time business so that I can work the hours I want, when I want.

I shall be updating the site regularly to ensure that the information these pages contain are relevant to YOU!
